The TrueNorth Advance desk is a superb piece of craftsmanship with a design that sets it apart from the rest. It features a hand crank that controls how far the desk can be raised or lowered. Interested? Read more to find out why this standing desk is catching the attention of companies nationwide.
This standup desk is the only one in the TrueNorth line that features a hand crank instead of an electronic system as a way to adjust the desk height. This unique and one-of-kind feature gives employees a hands-on approach when lowering and raising the desk. The crank is situated on the right side of the desktop. It’s small enough so that it doesn’t take up valuable desk space but big enough to make it easy to turn. You’ll be hard pressed to find a desk that looks, or acts, like the TrueNorth Advance.
Plenty of Desktop Space
This height adjustable desk has a single rectangle desktop for supreme functionality. By having one surface area, employees are able to position everything they need within reach. The desktop is 72” wide and 30” deep, which translates to a space that’s big enough to get work done without taking up too much room in the office.
Like most desks, the Advance has two legs supporting either side of it. But there’s a third form of support on this standing workstation—a bar that connects both desk legs. It provides additional support through the middle of the desk where it’s needed most, since that’s typically where a computer is positioned. The extra stability also compliments the manual system on the Advance. Whenever employees are adjusting the height of the desk, the added stability from the cross bar makes it easy to adjust.
